Mr. Thir Koirala

Thir Koirala was born into a Hindu family in east Nepal. He was involved practiced communism in student life. He received Jesus as his personal savior through correspondence and reading the Bible in 1993. He served as an ordained pastor from 2000-2009. Thir worked as the national coordinator of Micah Nepal from 2009-2021. Thir is also known as a journalist and writer in Nepali and English. His writings and articles are published in national and international journals and magazines.

In 2007, when he attended a conference on forgiveness and reconciliation, Thir Koirala got a Biblical mandate and vision of peace and reconciliation. Afterward, he was involved in a forgiveness and reconciliation ministry as a team member through Micah Nepal. He and his team developed many training manuals, teaching curricula, and other materials on forgiveness and reconciliation.

Presently, he is leading the Peace and Reconciliation Network (PRN) Asia as a regional coordinator. As well as serving the Asian migrant in North America.
