About John Edminston

CEO of Cybermissions, bible teacher, author, public speaker, missions strategist and leader in the area of technology in missions. One of the pioneers of Internet ministry starting in 1991 and going full-time in Internet ministry in 1995 with Eternity Online Magazine. Helped found the Mobile Ministry Forum and has developed numerous strategies for reaching the unreached and training pastors through digital technology. Has lectured at the Asian Theological Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary and City Vision University as well as at numerous Bible colleges on the mission field. John Edmiston became a Christian in 1978, interned as a pastoral assistant ata  Chinese church in Australia from 1984-1986, went to Papua New Guinea as missionary from 1986-88 and served with Scripture Union and AFES in Australia before heading to the Philippines in 2001 where he established the Asian Internet Bible Institute which later became Cybermissions. John Edmiston now lives in Virginia with his wife Dr. Minda Edmiston who is a botanist.
